Hi, I’m Steve Chrastka, owner of S&K Appliance Repair. We may be a small local business founded in 2023, but my journey in appliance repair began in 1984—yes, the year before the Bears last won the Super Bowl.
Over the past four decades, I’ve delivered, maintained, and repaired almost every appliance brand and model found in homes today. My experience working with both large corporations and smaller service companies taught me not just the technical skills, but also what customers truly need—and what they don’t want to deal with.

I’ll arrive in a modest service vehicle, dressed professionally, and clearly explain the cause of the issue. My goal isn’t to sell you an expensive fix—it’s to find the best solution for you. If a follow-up visit is needed, I’ll be the same technician who returns, ensuring consistent, personalized service.
